International Passive House Days in Austria
Together with many European passive house organisations the IG Passivhaus Austria is organising the “Passive House Days”. The IG Passivhaus invites everybody to visit lot of passive houses between the 6th and 8th of November. That is the best way to experience the advantages of passive houses.
The passive house is getting full aged. The first passive house was opened in Darmstadt 18 years ago. Since that 17,000 passive houses are attesting currently:
- Passive houses are perceptible comfortable
- Passive houses are nearly saving the total heat demand
- It’s possible to realise every new building in passive house standard
- Even at renovations passive house standard is proven of value
- Passive houses are profitable from the first day
Interested people can prove this on-site at the days of passive house. Clients and residences of passive houses are offering visitors to take a look in their passive houses. Most buildings are usual residential buildings. But office buildings, schools and kindergartens can be visited as well. The buildings are planned from different architects and are realised in different methods of construction.
There were already 158 passive houses open in Austria for 6,000 visitors at the “5th Days of Passive House” last year.
